The Mindanao war photo exhibit really feel me so awful of the situation that the Mindanao is facing now. It just shows that were not united with one another for its hard for us to achieve peace and unity in our own society.

I'd like to be the sort of friend that you have been to me;
I'd like to be the help that you've been always glad to be;
I'd like to mean as much to you each minute of the day
As you have meant, old friend of mine, to me along the way.
I'd like to do the big things and the splendid things for you,
To brush the gray from out your skies and leave them only blue;
I'd like to say the kindly things that I so oft have heard,
And feel that I could rouse your soul the way that mine you've stirred.
I'd like to give you back the joy that you have given me,
Yet that were wishing you a need I hope will never be;
I'd like to make you feel as rich as I, who travel on
Undaunted in the darkest hours with you to lean upon.
I'm wishing at this time that I could but repay
A portion of the gladness that you've strewn along my way;
And could I have one wish, this only would it be:
I'd like to be the sort of friend that you have been to me.
-==>, i really miss my friends.
i really miss our bonds, our laughters and all
... hope we'll see each other soon...

Among the MDGs, I feel that the goal 5 which is to “Improve Maternal Health” is the most closely to my heart. I recognize that many people consider the day their child was born the happiest day in their life. In the world's wealthier countries, that is. In poorer countries, the day a child born is all too often the day its mother dies. And based from my research, more than half a million women die in pregnancy and childbirth every year and that's approximately one death every minute. I just can’t imagine that maternal deaths represent the greatest indicator of inequity between rich and poor women. I believe that this goal could possibly be improved if everybody would be hand and hand to help in implementing this goal; right? That’s why; it’s a challenge for all of us to be part of this goal. And our targets are to reduce maternal deaths by three-quarters, between 1990 and 2015, to ensure faster progress among the poor and to provide universal access to reproductive health.
As an Atenean student, even in my simplest way to help in improving the maternal health and in order to achieve the targets, certainly I could be a volunteer and handle free seminars/programs in order to voice out the MDGs, to broader their minds about health services especially family planning who do not have adequate access to good quality contraception, and to let them be a responsible parenthood in order to improve their lifestyle. I would also encourage them, help them realize, and value that childbirth should be something to look forward to everywhere for our future and be able to seek for assistance at birth and access to emergency obstetric and neonatal care for management of complications.
Indeed, we must train ourselves to be responsible enough in everything we do. Governments should also take to ensure that health have the significant effects on all aspects of development and poverty reduction. And let’s play an important role to our world to transform health systems to save lives and promote development.
Communication for me is the art and technique of using words effectively in order to impart information and ideas. Through this, we are able to exchange of thoughts, messages, or information, as by speech, signals, writing, or behavior. This is also very important in our lives because it’s been our main method for communicating with one another.
Speaking, listening, and our ability to understand verbal and nonverbal meanings are skills we develop in various ways. Perhaps we learned these basic communication skills by observing other people and modeling our behaviors based on what we see.
